🕊️ “The Lord Is My Shepherd” — Keep Walking, Child of God

Good morning, good morning, good morning! Today is the day that the Lord has made — let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I encourage you to speak Psalm 23 over your life right now. It declares: “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.”

When we truly understand this truth, why then do we worry? God is our Shepherd — and a good one. He’s the Good Shepherd, the One who leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one. (John 10:11–14)

Are you that one today? He loves His sheep deeply and is not a hireling. A hireling is someone who works for pay but has no real care for the sheep — when danger comes, they run. But not our God! Jesus said, “The hireling flees because he is a hireling and cares not for the sheep.” (John 10:13)Our Shepherd never abandons His own.

So even though you may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death, don’t be afraid — for the Lord is with you. He is ever present. Notice it says walking through the valley, not running.

Does it feel good in the valley? Absolutely not. But start praising Him right there. Tell Him, “Thank You, Lord.”

As I type this very blog, I’m in a valley of my own — still typing, still praising, still giving Him thanks in all circumstances. And I want you to do the same.

You won’t be in the valley always. Every mountain has a top, and your Savior — the Light — is waiting there.

So go forth, child of God. Keep walking in faith. Thank Him for the blessing and the lesson, because every blessing carries a lesson.

Don’t give up on Him — He won’t give up on you. Tell Him what you need; I guarantee, He’s got it. And yes… He’s got you too.

💭 Reflection: What valley are you walking through today, and how can you praise Him in it — not just when you’re out of it?

🙏 Closing Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd. Even when I can’t see the way, I trust that You are guiding my steps. Teach me to praise You in the valley and to rejoice on the mountaintop. Remind me that Your presence is my peace and Your goodness my guarantee. In Jesus’ name, amen
